Memory and Honour Square

This court opened in 1999 where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier had stood since 1975. It remembers people who did not come back from the Second World War. A grieving mother bends at the eternal flame, and the names are written in a Book of Memory kept here. Opening hours and prices are left blank until someone checks them on site.
