The ensemble grew beside the mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal al-Shashi. Around it are the Barak Khan and Moyi Muborak madrasas, the Friday mosque and the Tilla Sheikh mosque. The library keeps a parchment Quran traditionally linked with Caliph Uthman. Opening hours and prices are left blank until someone checks them on site.
